The first magazine i am goin to be anilising is 'MixMag' which focuses soley upon dance music. i would say that the target audience is females between the ages of 18-25. The cover appeals to this demographic and psychographic view because it uses bright colours which connote fun, and wildness. The woman on the cover of the magazine is waering a pink and white bathing suite and she looks like she is having a good time. It draws the reader in because they will associate with provactive clothing, which means they'll want to dress like this in order to be 'true' to their chosen genre of music. The sans serif font shows a lack of sophistication, which would appeal to the audience .
